The incident unfolded today around 11:30 A.M. in the 7400 block of Will Clayton Pkwy, where dayshift A officers responded to a report of a shooting.
According to preliminary reports, the male victim, an employee at Sunoco, had bravely pursued two suspects who were caught shoplifting. In a devastating twist, one of the suspects opened fire on the victim’s vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries.
