LASD Major Crimes Bureau Seeks Public Assistance in Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

Los Angeles County, CA – The Major Crimes Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect believed to be responsible for a series of bank robberies and attempted bank robberies across Los Angeles County. The incidents occurred between October 2023 and January 2024, with the latest robbery occurring on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Bank of America in unincorporated Harbor City.

In each of the incidents, the lone suspect approaches a bank teller, demanding money while simulating a weapon concealed under his sweatshirt. The suspect is described as a Black adult male, standing between 5’08” and 5’10” tall, weighing 240-260 lbs, and estimated to be 40-45 years of age.

Authorities have provided crucial details about the suspect’s getaway vehicle – a 2006-2007 silver-colored, 4-door Honda Accord with tinted windows and stolen license plates.
