Fresno Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Assailant in Racially Motivated Bus Assault

Fresno, CA – Detectives from the Fresno Police Department are actively seeking information to identify and locate a male suspect involved in a racially motivated assault on a Fresno Area Express (FAX) bus passenger. The incident occurred on December 2, 2023, at 8:44 am, when the male suspect boarded the bus and directed racially charged statements towards an African American female passenger.

As the female passenger exited the bus, a heated argument ensued on the sidewalk, culminating in the male suspect physically assaulting her. Authorities are now urging the community to come forward with any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the assailant.
