Nottingham, Nottinghamshire – Local authorities are investigating an incident where a customer’s coat was snatched from a coffee shop in Nottingham. The theft occurred at Starbucks on South Parade, Nottingham, before 7 p.m. on January 21.
CCTV footage captured the victim seated in the coffee shop with her coat on the back of a stool. The footage shows a woman approaching the stool, seizing the £250 coat, and swiftly running out of the premises. She could not apprehend the individual despite the victim’s efforts to chase the thief.
PC Ben Harwood, leading the investigation, expressed concern over the brazen nature of the theft, emphasizing its impact on the victim’s distress. Authorities are determined to identify and apprehend the person responsible for the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information about the offender to come forward promptly.
