Silver Spring, MD: The Montgomery County Department of Police urgently seeks the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a strong-arm robbery at a business in the Ellsworth Place Mall in Silver Spring on Thursday, February 1, 2024. A person of interest seen with the suspects is also being sought for identification.

- Description: At approximately 3 p.m., two suspects entered Lela Mobile in the Ellsworth Place Mall under the guise of dropping off a phone for repair. However, when the restoration was completed, one suspect jumped over the counter, grabbed the phone, and struck the employee in the face when confronted. The second suspect then also jumped over the counter and stole property. Both suspects fled the store with the stolen items. A person of interest, a Black female, was seen with the suspects in the mall.
