Silver Spring, Montgomery County, MD—Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police—Major Crimes Division are investigating a robbery at the 7-Eleven store in the 8100 block of Fenton Street. Authorities have released surveillance footage capturing two male suspects and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying them.
According to the investigation, the incident occurred on Sunday, March 17, 2024, around 10:57 a.m. Two suspects entered the store, one directly approaching an employee and demanding money from the cash registers. The second suspect remained stationed by the cash registers. Upon the employee’s compliance, the first suspect retrieved an undisclosed sum of money from the cash registers before both suspects fled the scene.
Descriptions of the suspects have been obtained based on surveillance footage:
- Suspect One: Described as a Black male in his early twenties, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a thin build. He wore all-black clothing, including black gloves and a black ski mask.
- Suspect Two: He is described as a Black male in his early twenties, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore a bright blue and black North Face jacket, a dark gray knit hat, dark pants, and white/black/blue shoes.
