Silver Spring, Montgomery County, MDDetectives Investigate Randolph Road Church Burglary; Surveillance Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who burglarized the Southern Asian Seventh Day Adventist Church in the 2000 block of E. Randolph Road in Silver Spring.

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at approximately 10:35 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location for the report of a commercial burglary.

The investigation revealed that at approximately 3 a.m., a male suspect forced entry into the church walked around, and left the scene.

Detectives reviewed the footage from the surveillance cameras and obtained a description of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his twenties with long locs and a slight build. He is wearing a black jacket, pants, and shoes.
