The incident involved the kidnapping and subsequent fatal shooting of Ms. Carter, whose lifeless body was discovered on Thursday, January 15, 2024, in the 1200 Block of 18th Street North.<\/p>

Detectives have released photos of the male individual, seeking information that could aid in solving this heinous crime. The Birmingham Police Department’s Homicide Unit urges anyone with details related to the case to come forward and assist in their ongoing investigation.<\/p>

Individuals with information are encouraged to contact the B.P.D.’s Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764. Alternatively, tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $5,000 for valuable information leading to the resolution of criminal cases.<\/p>
