Law enforcement authorities seek information from residents to aid their investigation in response to a series of vehicle burglaries and trespassing incidents reported on January 18, 2024, in the Poland Community.
Patrol Deputies were dispatched to several homes near Penny Lane, LA 3170, and Tyler Road following reports of multiple vehicle burglaries and trespassing activities. Homeowners provided security camera footage capturing a male subject in the area between 11:20 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. The individual was observed wearing camouflage pants, a puffy jacket, a face mask, and a knit hat. The subject’s race remains indeterminable at this time.
Detectives leading the investigation are urging residents in the affected area to review their security footage for any additional sightings of the suspect during the specified timeframe. The community’s assistance in identifying and reporting any relevant information is crucial to the investigation’s progress.
Additionally, detectives emphasize the importance of residents securing their vehicles and valuables, as this precautionary measure can act as a deterrent against theft.
