CROWLEY, TEXAS – Detectives with the Crowley Police Department are actively investigating an alarming armed robbery that unfolded in the 200 block of West 13th Street on January 17, 2024, at approximately 7:50 p.m. The incident has raised concerns in the community, prompting law enforcement to seek the public’s assistance in solving the case.
According to the preliminary investigation, the victim was targeted by two suspects as he exited his vehicle. The perpetrators, described as black males in their late teens to early twenties with medium to tall builds, approached the victim with force, holding him at gunpoint. In a harrowing turn of events, the suspects demanded the victim’s keys and cash.
Despite the traumatic nature of the incident, law enforcement reports that the stolen vehicle has since been recovered. However, the urgency to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice remains paramount.
