Bartlett, TN – The Bartlett Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect involved in an assault and theft at Sam’s Club on Hwy 64 on January 14, 2024. Sergeant Jackson is leading the investigation and is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible.
Description of the Incident: On January 14, 2024, at 1:30 PM, officers were dispatched to 8404 Highway 64, Bartlett, TN (Sam’s Club), following reports of an assault and theft. The victim, who was conducting receipt checks at the exit door, informed officers that a black male assaulted her as he exited the store. The victim had observed the suspect on a motorized shopping cart with products sticking out of his pants. When she asked him to stand up, the male allegedly rammed her with the cart, stood up, and walked out of the store. The suspect reportedly left the scene in an older model Mercedes sedan.
