The Port Arthur Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman involved in a recent theft incident. Despite the blurry photos attached, authorities believe that someone may recognize the individual depicted.
According to reports, the woman in question stole a wallet from a shopper’s purse while the shopper’s attention was diverted. The theft occurred at a Walmart, where the victim’s purse was left unattended in a shopping cart. The suspect then used the victim’s debit card to purchase two gift cards, resulting in a total expenditure of nearly $1,000.
