Appeal for Information: Theft from Charity Shop
Nottingham, UK – Nottinghamshire Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two individuals captured on CCTV following a theft from a charity shop in Valley Road. The incident occurred on Friday, February 9, around 1:42 pm at Mesopotamia, a charity shop dedicated to providing relief from poverty and hardship worldwide.
Incident Details: According to the shopkeeper, two unknown men entered the shop and appeared interested in a television. While one engaged the staff member in conversation, the other swiftly removed the television and fled. Both individuals are believed to have left in a white Toyota van.
PC Scott Chambers, leading the investigation, described the theft as “appalling” and emphasized the importance of apprehending the perpetrators to prevent further incidents in the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire area.
Images of the two men have been released in the hope of gathering more information to aid the investigation. PC Chambers urged anyone who recognized the individuals or had information about the incident to come forward promptly.
