Georgia, VT – On February 11, 2024, at approximately 4:33 AM, Troopers from the St. Albans barracks responded to a burglary at the Georgia Market at 962 Ethan Allen Highway in the Town of Georgia.
Upon arrival, Troopers conducted a thorough security sweep of the store, but no suspects were found inside. It was determined that the suspects gained entry to the market by smashing a glass door using a hatchet. Several items from the store were reported missing.
A preliminary review of security footage revealed that two male subjects forcibly entered the market around 4:18 AM. Additional security images will be provided as they become available.
