Beerwah, Queensland, Australia – Detectives from the Sunshine Coast Criminal Investigation Branch are seeking the public’s help gathering information regarding a robbery at a takeaway restaurant on Peachester Road in Beerwah.
Incident Details: The incident occurred around 10 pm on Tuesday, February 13, when a man arrived at the business riding a white mountain bike with black wheels. Upon entering the establishment, he proceeded to steal cash from the till. When confronted by the shop owner, the man pushed her aside as he fled the scene.
The suspect then rode away on his bike, heading west on Peachester Road. He is described as tall, with a slim build, and was wearing long black pants, a long-sleeve black shirt, and a black and white face mask.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, recognizes the suspect, possesses CCTV footage, or has any information that may aid the investigation to come forward.
