Memphis, TN—On March 4, 2024, at approximately 8:35 p.m., an unknown male black suspect approached the front door of the Family Dollar located at 1450 South Trezevant Street in Memphis, TN. He informed the employees that he intended to rob the business and brandished a black handgun.
Incident Details:
The suspect proceeded to the back office, where employees counted money from the registers. He brandished the handgun again and took money from two cash register tills. The suspect exited the store and fled the scene on foot, traveling eastbound on Supreme Avenue towards the dead end. No vehicle was observed at the scene.
