Incident Details: On March 1, 2024, the suspect contacted the elderly victim through his computer, posing as a technician addressing a potential computer issue. The suspect(s) manipulated the victim to transfer $8,000.00 into a Bitcoin Machine. The suspect(s) also arranged for another individual, acting as a money mule, to pick up $14,600 in cash. The suspect(s) reportedly drove a black 4-door Toyota with a New York license plate, specifically KZN2934.
