Tampa, FL – Authorities in Hillsborough County are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a violent altercation that escalated into gunfire. The incident, which occurred on April 8, 2024, at approximately 2:40 p.m., has prompted a comprehensive investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to two separate scenes in response to the shooting. The first location was the Tico and Marisol Supermarket and Café Artemisa, while the second scene was identified a few blocks away at 4400 Knollwood St.
According to preliminary reports, the altercation began as a verbal dispute before escalating into a violent confrontation, during which the suspect allegedly discharged a firearm at the victim. The motive behind the altercation remains under investigation.
The suspect, whose image was captured on video surveillance, is wanted on serious charges, including Attempted Murder, a felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
